MEET HEATHER

As a long-time small business owner, Heather has a strong sales and business management background.  She has been in the real estate industry for over 14 years. First as a mortgage field inspector and now, also as a real estate agent.

Over the years, she has assisted many Ventura residents in navigating the complex issues and frustrations of dealing with various entities involved in the reconstruction of their damaged properties, including many homeowners devastated by the Thomas Fire.

The financial devastation caused by the 2020 Covid lockdowns and the enacting of AB5 at the beginning of 2020 lead Heather to add an additional occupation to her resume.  She is now also the sales manager at a beautiful Ventura hotel.

Heather has been actively involved in our community politically for well over a decade, helping bring awareness to local issues that affect everyone.  In 2021 she was one of a handful of people sounding the alarm about VenturaWaterPure.  In addition to her public comments of opposition to city council, she was out in the community collecting the necessary petition signatures to oppose the program.

Over the years, she has volunteered her time to many charitable causes for our city and county, including many years with the PTA’s at Junipero Serra and Balboa Middle School, and on the PTA Board at Citrus Glen Elementary.  When her children were young, she loved being their class mom at school and team mom on their local sports teams. Heather is currently an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Ventura.

Family is the most important part of Heather’s life.  Her adult children were born and raised in this beautiful city and they continue to make lifelong memories together here.
